If you no longer wish to continue with your Open Badge Factory (OBF) subscription, the process is simple — in most cases, you don’t need to do anything.
No Automatic Renewal
OBF does not automatically renew subscriptions.
This means:
When your subscription period ends, your license simply expires.
No cancellation form or request is required.
You will not be charged automatically for another year.
Example:
If your license expires on 7 February 2026, it will automatically end on that date unless you intentionally buy a new license.
If you still want to cancel early
If you prefer to notify us that you are stopping earlier, you are welcome to contact our support team — but this is optional, as no cancellation process is required.
What happens after your subscription ends?
When your license expires:
Your account remains active (you can still sign in).
You still have access to:
your badges,
your badge templates,
your issued badges,
your organisation profile.
You simply lose access to features that require a paid plan.
If you return later, you can purchase a new license and continue where you left off — nothing is deleted.
Planning to Return in the Future?
Some organisations pause their subscription temporarily to reduce costs and come back later.
Your account stays safe and ready whenever you need it again.
