About user permissions

Modified on Wed, 19 Nov at 10:43 AM

Available only at Pro level service, the user Permissions management feature provides granular control over user access rights, letting you precisely define who can create, modify, and issue badges.

Permissions can be managed individually, by user category or a combination of both (see screenshots below).

What is the logic behind usage rights?

Administrators

Users with the "Admin" role have full rights: they can create, modify, and issue all badges within the account.

Creators

  • The creator of a badge always retains the rights to modify and issue their own badge.
  • By default, all users with the "Creator" role can modify and issue any badge ("Authorized for all creators" option is enabled by default).
  • Restrictions can be applied by specifically selecting which creators are authorized to modify a given badge.

Important note: A creator who is not authorized to modify a badge still retains the right to issue it.

Issuers

By default, all users with the "Issuer" role can issue any badge, unless specific restrictions have been defined in the usage rights.
