How to create a Minimap in a Space?

Note that only users with the Can create, modify, delete MiniMaps capability can create Minimaps.

To start creation, click Manage Minimaps on the left side of the menu. Here, you can create a new Minimap or modify an existing one.

To create a new Minimap, click on the ‘+’ and complete the form. When all the necessary fields have been filled in, click the Create Minimap button. 

Note that:

• Minimaps can be organized using categories by filling in the Map tags field. In the screenshot below, the Onboarding tag has been created using this option. 

• Station labels can also be defined and be used to identify different badge stations (e.g., Workshop, Training, Presential, Remote, etc.).

• The Enable a legend of shapes used in this map option distinguishes station shapes according to their nature (e.g., practical activity, web conference, etc.).

Adding / Editing a station

Select the desired shape to add a new station and click ‘Add Station.’ The station will appear in the left-hand frame, where it can be freely moved within the area.

Then click on the station setting area (on the right of the screen) to configure it. You can customize many elements, such as the station's shape, the borders' thickness, the opacity, and the color. You are invited to provide the station with a name and a description (or any other relevant information). You can also define here whether it is a departure or arrival station and the number of hours planned to complete it.

To complete the station settings, add one or more badges or one or more badge applications. You can define whether the badge you need to obtain is compulsory to complete this pathway stage and choose to use its visual as an image to illustrate the station.

Finally, click Save to store the changes.

How to connect two stations?

To connect two stations with a line, click and hold on one station, drag it to the other, and release. You can customize the connection using the gear icon or delete it using the cross icon.

Finalizing the Creation of a Minimap

Once all Minimap settings have been adjusted, click ‘Save and Exit’ to store your changes. Note that you can save your progress any time, even if the Minimap is incomplete, allowing you to finalize it later.
