When a member submits a badge application, users with the Can review badge applications capability in their role are notified on their dashboard that an application requires review.
Click Review Applications in the side menu to review the application. The list of applications to be reviewed is displayed in this section and can be filtered or ordered according to specific criteria (by group, applicant name, etc.).
Click on the relevant application to review it. The reviewer has four options: Issue badge, Return for revision, Reject application and Delete application. (view screenshot below)
- Issue badge confirms that the application has been validated, and the badge is issued to the applicant.
- Return for revision indicates the application lacks sufficient detail or completeness to be validated. The applicant is invited to complete the application and resubmit it.
- Reject application means the application has been declined.
- Delete application is typically used when the same requester has submitted multiple applications for the same badge.
The badge applicant will be notified of the reviewer's decision on their Space dashboard (see screenshot below).
